Cherry Heart WeekEnder Blanket Yarn Pack
Cherry Heart WeekEnder Blanket Yarn Pack
Cherry Heart WeekEnder Blanket Yarn Pack
Introducing the WeekEnder Blanket from Sandra Paul of Cherry Heart!
Sandra says: "Originally designed during my Blanket-Along in March 2015, this blanket got its name because it was a project I decided I was only going to work on during weekends. It became a nice way to make sure that I worked on it a little and often, and slowly but surely a blanket emerged! The pattern is for a lap or smaller bed blanket and is constructed in a modular style with joins made through the corners of each hexagon."
This yarn pack contains 15 balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades and quantities:

You will also need a 4 mm (G) crochet hook and a yarn needle. The skill level of this pattern is estimated by the designer as "Easy/Improver". You will use basic crochet stitches and a "join as you go" technique. The finished blanket will be 158 cm x 130 cm (62" x 51") and the colour pack quantities given are for this size.
The pattern is not included with the pack, but a pdf (in UK and US terms) can be purchased and downloaded here. It includes a layout diagram with colour breakdown, crochet charts of each motif and the border, clear instructions and stitch abbreviations.
Please note: Pack quantities are given for the project when worked to the tension stated in the pattern. If a different hook is used, or your tension differs from the designer's, additional yarn may be required.
